Chamber Orchestra - Spring 2024

Service Description

Students in Chamber Orchestra are capable readers and independent players. Chamber orchestra students will continue to develop their technique through various exercises delivered as lessons to the entire orchestra. These will include vibrato, shifting, articulation and phrasing along with extending the instrument specific technique for all players. Repertoire will range from baroque, to classical, to romantic and also include a host of original compositions and arrangements from educational composers such as Sandra Dackow, Soon Hee Newbold, and others. Students can expect rehearsals to be fun and engaging as we learn great music and rehearse like a real orchestra. This package includes: - Twelve (13) 1.5 hour intensive, engaging rehearsals - Multiple concerts and performing opportunities - All music + Music folder - String pedagogy delivered by a veteran educator / performer Notes: * Entry to this group is based on audition / recommendation. If you are a brand new student / family to our organization, please reference: https://www.northpalmyouthsymphony.org/grouprequirements and email us at artisticdirector@npys.org. We assist all incoming families with placement into the groups. * Additional performance / mentoring opportunities will be shared directly to participating parents and students via email once sessions start.

Cancellation Policy

Customer shall notify North Palm Youth Symphony of any intent to cancel by contacting us at northpalmyouthsymphony@gmail.com. When verified that customer has submitted payment for session, North Palm Youth Symphony shall promptly refund the prorated amount of sessions left remaining.
