Service Description
The beginning of the string education journey. Students will be taught with an emphasis on building strong fundamentals of posture, playing position and music reading while developing fine and gross motor skills, inner motor (rhythmic development) and inner ear (ear training). Students can expect to sing, move and play on their instruments throughout fun and dynamic lessons designed to promote growth and interest in music. This package includes: - Twelve (13) 1 hour intensive, engaging rehearsals - One concert - All music + Music folder - Closely monitored student development with constant instructor feedback - String pedagogy delivered by a veteran educator / performer - Additional performance opportunities Notes: * Musical instrument must be provided by the family. Instruments taught are violin, viola, cello and bass. Recommended local vendors for rental / purchase are Barnes Violins. ** We do not recommend inexpensive Amazon or eBay string instruments. These instruments are low quality, do not work properly right of the case, often requiring additional expenses. Low quality, inexpensive internet instruments do not play properly and will be detrimental to learning proper fundamentals and tone production.
Cancellation Policy
Customer shall notify North Palm Youth Symphony of any intent to cancel by contacting us at northpalmyouthsymphony@gmail.com. When verified that customer has submitted payment for session, North Palm Youth Symphony shall promptly refund the prorated amount of sessions left remaining.
